We have just been informed that part of Saxmundham Road will be closed on Friday evening for emergency repairs. The official diversion is via Badingham Road, please see attached photo.
The road closure is likely to run from 7.30- 10pm on 30th June; it is hoped that the evening closure should minimise disruption to most road users.

Meeting on 20th June 2023
At the latest meeting the main topics for discussion and agreement were as follows:
1. Outline plans for the Christmas on the Hill working group were discussed. Letters and PR would go out to all participants informing them of the date on 8th December.

Decision to restrict dogs in the Pageant Field playground
Following advice that East Suffolk Council has agreed a "Public Space Protection Order" which makes having dogs in restricted areas such as playgrounds an offence, the Town Council formally agreed to reverse a previous decision and to ban dogs in the fenced playground. Our cemetery on Fore Street has been in use since 1856, and includes over 3000 graves. It is however now reaching capacity and will soon be full for burials.

A large number of people in our community are not able to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Framlingham. Access to the mere and its views of Framlingham Castle is very difficult or impossible for persons of limited mobility, those who are reliant on a wheelchair, or even walkers with pushchairs.
