Please be aware of events at Framlingham College this evening and this weekend.
The College has also posted this on local noticeboards and Facebook and leaflets have been hand-delivered to local residents informing them about the events and possible disruption.

Armed Forces Day- 24th June
We enjoyed live music from the Woodbridge Excelsior Band on Saturday morning to mark Armed Forces Day. You might be able to spot the Armed Forces flag flying to the rear of the photo too.

Saxmundham Road Closure- Friday evening
We have just been informed that part of Saxmundham Road will be closed on Friday evening for emergency repairs. The official diversion is via Badingham Road, please see attached photo.
The road closure is likely to run from 7.30- 10pm on 30th June; it is hoped that the evening closure should minimise disruption to most road users.

At the latest meeting the main topics for discussion and agreement were as follows:

Dogs on the Playing Area
Decision to restrict dogs in the Pageant Field playground
Following advice that East Suffolk Council has agreed a "Public Space Protection Order" which makes having dogs in restricted areas such as playgrounds an offence, the Town Council formally agreed to reverse a previous decision and to ban dogs in the fenced playground. Framlingham Cemetery
Our cemetery on Fore Street has been in use since 1856, and includes over 3000 graves. It is however now reaching capacity and will soon be full for burials.

Proposed Viewing Platform for the Mere
A large number of people in our community are not able to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Framlingham. Access to the mere and its views of Framlingham Castle is very difficult or impossible for persons of limited mobility, those who are reliant on a wheelchair, or even walkers with pushchairs.
