It is with regret that Woodbridge Excelsior Band has cancelled for Saturday. Several of their members have developed Covid and are not well enough to play.
At this short notice there is no chance of getting another band to step in particularly as band members tend to be members of other bands as well.

Armed Forces Day Celebration
Saturday 25th June 2022
Market Hill, Framlingham 10am - 12 noon
Reverend Davey will say a few words and a blessing and Clive (FTC Chairman) will raise the flag.
The Band will be playing between 10am and 12 noon.
Framlingham RBL and SSFAA will have pitch on the market.
(There will be a road closure around the back of the Market Hill but through traffic will not be affected.

Weeding the Lime Tree Roundels - Volunteers?
The Town Council has stepped in to weed the Lime Trees in Market Hill. Although all but one are the responsibility of Suffolk County Council (one tree is privately owned) who pollard them and trim the side shoots, volunteers and the Council have planted and weeded these roundels in the past. Framlingham's Christmas On The Hill event for 2021 will be on Friday 3rd December from 4.30pm-10.30pm.
Late night shopping, tree lighting ceremony, carol singing and music on the market, followed by a lantern procession up to the Castle for further festivities, music and refreshments.
