To coincide with Christmas lights 'switch ons' and other festive events across East Suffolk this weekend, East Suffolk Council are offering free parking in council-owned car parks from 4pm on the following dates:
🎄 Friday 2 December - Framlingham and Saxmundham
🎄 Saturday 3 December - Lowestoft, Aldeburgh, Wickham Market and Felixstowe

Framlingham Town Council (FTC) were very disappointed that East Suffolk Planning Committee decided on 22nd November to approve the new application for 35 self-build homes on the land south of Victoria Mill Road. The most recent results for positive Covid cases locally (22/10/22) are shown. The number of reported positive cases are still increasing, but are still relatively low.
However, not all positive cases are being reported as the requirement to test and report has been reduced in many settings, and so the above results represent trends but not the actual numbers of infected people.

Suffolk County Council Highways update on the current position:
Work is currently underway to prepare for the repairs that are required to the bridge that carries the B1116 over the River between Kettleburgh Road and Fairfield Road.
The river that the bridge crosses is Main River and therefore consent will need to be gained from the Environment Agency for the temporary scaffolding that will be required... Read More »

The Town Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer Eileen A Coe will be taking early retirement in December after 21 and a half years in the role.
