Volunteers needed to water new trees in the Cemetery
Would you be able to help once a week watering four new trees in the Cemetery?
We already have one volunteer but the trees need watering twice a week. We have a water supply and watering cans.

Band cancelled for Armed Forces Day on Saturday
It is with regret that Woodbridge Excelsior Band has cancelled for Saturday. Several of their members have developed Covid and are not well enough to play.
At this short notice there is no chance of getting another band to step in particularly as band members tend to be members of other bands as well.

Children of Sir Robert Hitcham's School held a competition to draw crowns for the Platinum Jubilee mugs, and 380 of these were presented to class captains by the Town Council at a brilliant service in St Michaels Church on 27th May - all the children wore crowns they had made and dressed in red white and blue. The event ended with singing God Save The Queen on Market Hill!

The Town Council has stepped in to weed the Lime Trees in Market Hill. Although all but one are the responsibility of Suffolk County Council (one tree is privately owned) who pollard them and trim the side shoots, volunteers and the Council have planted and weeded these roundels in the past.
