Fit for a King
Thank you so much to Bill Bulstrode for putting up all the bunting over the Market Hill. We would also like to thank Framlingham Retailers for flying the Union flags, and the Fram Fire Service crew who will be hanging bunting over other parts of the town over the next day or so.

Emergency Alert from Government- 23rd April
A new system that gives the Government and emergency services the capability to send emergency alerts has been launched. A UK-wide alerts test will take place in the early evening of Sunday 23rd April. Visit gov.uk/alerts for more information.

Upcoming Road Works and Road Closures
Please be aware that there are a series of schedules for upcoming roadworks scheduled for Framlingham
Firstly, East Suffolk Council Parking Services will be conducting line maintenance works on Framlingham Market Hill on Monday 27th March 2023 (weather dependent).

What the Highways Committee has been up to
The Highways, Rights of Way and Parking Committee has been busy since the start of the year.
We have news on the Traffic Regulation Order on Fore Street, lighting 'dark spots' around the town and an exciting proposal that we are discussing with Suffolk County Council to help reduce the speed of traffic in the town centre.

New Castle Brooks Information Board
Castle Brooks now has a brand new notice board on the green. We are calling it Oak Tree Corner in recognition, and a big thank you, to local residents for saving the two large oak trees just nearby.
Thank you is also due to Framlingham Town Council and the Unitarian Trust for grant funding towards the costs of the noticeboard - some of which is made from recycled plastic.
