Volunteering - Community Action

Recently a group of residents have been doing some excellent work tidying up the edges of streets in the town centre- thank you to everyone who has joined in with these work parties. For several reasons, including issues over insurance, the Town Council cannot itself become involved in any project that includes working in the roadway.

However, we would like to harness the enthusiasm of this group and to encourage others to help spruce up our wonderful town. The Council has ideas on which areas to tackle but we would like to hear from you.

Which parts of the town do you feel would most benefit from some simple work carried out by volunteers?

Would you be prepared to join a volunteer group - as a regular or a one-off?

As a volunteer, which street/area would you prefer to work in?

We are hopeful that some equipment and PPE can be obtained from Suffolk County Council through their Community Self-Help Scheme.

Please send responses to the Deputy Town Clerk, dtc@framlingham.com or 01728 720 183
