RIGHTS OF WAY WALK

Once again, the Framblers were rewarded with excellent weather for the summer Rights of Way walk on Saturday 30th July. The walks always begin in town and are designed to take around two hours without rushing so we can only cover a small section of all the rights of way within the parish boundaries. However, in the several years that I've been taking part, we've never followed exactly the same route. Our leader, Colin, always finds a way to make the walk interesting. This time the sprightly and the not so sprightly amongst us were challenged to overcome an unexpectedly locked gate. No-one failed. At one stage we were overtaken by a former Frambler who has moved up a grade and now runs! The rest prefer to keep at least a part of their energy for discussion.

We aim for four walks a year, the next will be sometime in the autumn. The date will be shown in the Council newsletter and on the website.
