Rest in Peace our Queen

Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, has died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.

The Chair of Framlingham Town Council, Cllr Clive Eastwood, said "On behalf of Framlingham Town Council and our residents I would like to express our deep sadness following the passing of Her Majesty, The Queen. Our thoughts at this sad time are with His Majesty King Charles III and all members of the Royal Family.

As a mark of respect, the flag in Market Hill is now at half-mast from today. A book of condolence is being provided at St Michael's Church to allow local residents to pay their respects. Floral tributes are welcome to be laid alongside the railings.
