Invitation to the Local Reading of the Proclamation

3.30pm at St Michael's Church Framingham on Sunday 11th September.
Framingham Town Council has received information from the Lord Lieutenant's Office that Her Majesty the Queen died on Thursday. Operation London Bridge is therefore in effect.

Details for the arrangements for the coming days are on the County Council website, www.suffolk.gov.uk.

Invitation to the local Reading of the Proclamation on the Accession of the new Sovereign, The Proclamation will be read by the Town Council Chair and will take place at 3.30pm at St Michael's Church Framingham on Sunday 11th September.

The County Proclamation will take place at 1.00pm on Sunday 11th September at The Town Hall, Corn Hill, Ipswich. All Mayors and Chairmen of Councils in Suffolk will be invited to attend.
The Suffolk Proclamation will be read by The High Sheriff of Suffolk and the Reading will be followed by a short, multi-faith Service of Affirmation. The Town Council Chairman will be handed a copy of the Proclamation and they will then return to Framingham to read the Proclamation at 3.30pm at St Michaels Church.
