Fairfield Road Repairs

Suffolk County Council has notified us of the following regarding repairs on Fairfield Road:

"The design for the foot way support and reconstruction works has now been completed and we are currently in negotiations regarding the costs of the construction works.
The construction work has been programmed in to be delivered, commencing on the 21st November extending into early December. This is subject to agreement of costs, weather and programme progression.
If there is any change to the programming of this work we will let you know ASAP.
We are conscious of the length of time this has taken and the sensitivities around the need to complete this work and remove the temporary traffic management and therefore we have been and continue to push for delivery as soon as possible.'

Hopefully Framlingham will soon see the end of the traffic lights at the Brick Lane junction on Fairfield Road.
