COVID cases locally - July
The most recent results for positive Covid cases locally (26/06/22) are shown. The number of reported positive cases have now reached 39 and there is no sign of levelling off. This is probably attributable to either Omicron BA.4 or BA.5 variants, which are re-infecting people.

From now on, daily reporting on the PHE dashboard will cease, and updates will be once a week. Surveys of random sampling of people, or self-reporting, report substantially higher frequencies of Covid-19 infection than those reported on the HSA dashboard, where these results are taken from. The difference is probably attributable to results no longer needing to be reported.
