Greener Fram would like to thank everyone who has supported their community garden this summer especially to Framlingham Town Council & Framlingham College for all their support. They easily surpassed their target of 1/2 a ton of produce given back to the town of Framlingham.
What a great achievement.

Virtual London Marathon
***London Marathon***
A number of GFT Bootcampers are taking part in the virtual London Marathon on Sunday 9th October.
They will be running/walking around Framlingham to raise money for VICTA. A charity for Visually Impaired Children, Teenages and Adults.
The 26.2mile route is 5 laps of a 8.5km loop. It has been chosen so it will take in as many of the Bootcampers houses as possible.

Fairfield Road Repairs
Suffolk County Council has notified us of the following regarding repairs on Fairfield Road:
"The design for the foot way support and reconstruction works has now been completed and we are currently in negotiations regarding the costs of the construction works.

Framlingham Sound & Light Spectacular
November 4th: 5.30pm and 8.00pm (doors open 5.00pm and 7.30pm)
This is a new environmentally friendly event for bonfire night. Framlingham Town Council has teamed up with Noise of Art, an established music and arts organisation to create a special sound and light spectacular within the atmospheric venue of the Castle.
No fireworks - a lot of music, lights and projected images on the castle walls.

St Michael’s Church Sunday 18th September
St Michael's Church, Framlingham will be open on Sunday 18th September 2022 between 6pm and 8pm for quiet reflection and with public prayers at 7pm for those who would like somewhere to come and pay their final respects.
At 8pm we will keep a minute's silence with the rest of the nation at the war memorial.

Service for the Proclamation of the Accession
Service for the Proclamation of the Accession
The Proclamation of the Accession was read in Framlingham at St Michaels's Church on Sunday. Many people attended and the Church was packed. The Reading was followed by a short, multi-faith Service of Affirmation.

FLYING THE FLAGS
Flags will remain at half mast until 11:00 on Saturday 10th, when they go up to full mast.
On Sunday 11th at 16:30 they go down to half mast and remain at half mast until 08:00 on Tuesday 20th.
