The Fairtrade Easter Egg Hunt was a great success. They had 40 children with their parents, grandparents and supporters turn up at The Community Garden on Easter Sunday. We are pleased to learn that East Suffolk Council (ESC) has agreed that their Planning Committee will reconsider the application for 49 homes off Victoria Mill Road. The Committee had previously voted to grant planning permission, despite the opposition of Framlingham Town Council and several hundred residents, and despite the fact that the application was contrary to the Neighbourhood Plan.

Due to the resignation of Councillor Shelley Pepperdine, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Town Council. The deadline for calling a Poll is the 14th April 2022.

Here is the most recent results for positive Covid cases locally up to 24 March. The number of reported positive cases has increased again, although this most recent wave to sweep through the country seems to be subsiding. Intuitively, Mother's Day on 27th March is likely to increase the frequencies locally. From now on, with more restricted testing, these results will however be less representative.... Read More »

COVID-19 SPRING BOOSTERS
Everyone aged 75 + and those aged 12 + who are severely immunosuppressed can go to a local walk-in clinic for their 2nd COVID-19 booster dose, or make an appointment via the national NHS booking site.
Those eligible do not need to wait until invited, but there needs to be a 6 month gap since their last vaccination.
