COVID-19: Protect Yourselves & Others

Latest Update on Covid Cases in the Framlingham Area

The most recent results for reported positive Covid cases locally (21/01/23) are shown.

COVID MONTHLY UPDATE

The most recent results for positive Covid cases locally are shown. The levels have stayed low locally, and have fallen throughout England and Wales. This is re-assuring, compared with what happened last year and the year before, when numbers of cases soared at this time of year.
However, not all positive cases are being reported as the requirement to test and report has been reduced in many settings, and so the results represent trends but not the actual numbers of infected people.

We have been advised that the healthcare system across Suffolk and North East Essex is suffering badly with staff sickness as a result of COVID circulating again in our community. Please try and protect yourselves by wearing masks in public if possible. This is not mandated, but we need your help to protect the health service from a rise in demand on health services, and to protect staff who can then be there for patients.

COVID-19 BOOSTER VACCINES
Everyone aged 65 + and those aged 12 + who are severely immunosuppressed can go to a local walk-in clinic for their 3rd COVID-19 booster dose, or make an appointment via the national NHS booking site.
Those eligible do not need to wait until invited, but there needs to be a 6 month gap since their last vaccination.
