Town Council Activity
Information on the projects and initiatiatives the Town Council is currently working on, how you can get involved, and key reports and surveys carried out recently.
The Town Council sets out a vision of what it would like to achieve during each 4 year Council term. It also produces Action Plans for each committee which are reviewed regularly, and all decisions are made subject to the agreed Neighbourhood Plan
The Town Council organises a number of events for the town, details for each event can be found here.
A review of the Neighbourhood Plan will be required soon to keep it up to date. We started the process in 2021, however it is currently on hold whilst waiting the final determination of a a recent Planning Application for development at Victoria Mill Road.
You can see the progress to date here.
Sustainable Framlingham was formed as a Working Group to bring together individuals and local organisations who can help to identify and develop projects that address climate change and environmental issues within our community.
There are many ways you can become involved in the work of the Framlingham Town Council. Helping on specific events and activities, joining a working group such as the Neighbourhood Plan Review, or the Sustainable Framlingham exploring climate mitigation.
