Read Sociology at the University of Bath, then taught children how to shoot in Wisconsin and cooked crepes in a converted stagecoach in Aspen before spending 30 years in business information research. He grew up in a small Wiltshire town and moved to Suffolk in 2001. He believes passionately that ancient markets play a central part in forming the character of any town. He is a keen cyclist and walker and shops locally. Joined the Town Council in 2022
