Doophus, the Town Cat is alive and well
Wed 10th March

We have received several enquiries again lately regarding Doophus as he has not been seen in public for some time. We are pleased to report he is in fine form but has largely retired from public life. It is estimated he is well into his 20's and has resided at several addresses in the town. When I first came to Fram about 13 years ago, he spent most days in the library on the computer chair. I was granted an Audience this afternoon, but he was not keen on being photographed & it took some time to get the pic on the left. During the winter he has been glued to radiators & has enjoyed watching a spot of telly in the evenings. Possibly when the weather gets warmer he may venture out more as he is a great one for lying about soaking up the sun's rays. In his old age he has become choosy about his food & won't just wrap his tonsils round any old cat food - its only the best for him these days!
